Tampa Bay HEAT offers volleyball opportunities for athletes in 4th–12th grade, including separate Boys and Girls JV and Varsity teams, Middle School Elite Volleyball, Co-Ed developmental programs, and Girls Beach Volleyball. Our athletes build skills, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game while competing in a Christ-centered environment.

Boys & Girls Varsity
Separate boys and girls high school varsity teams designed for experienced athletes competing at HEAT’s highest volleyball level.
Boys & Girls JV
Separate boys and girls junior varsity teams focused on skill development, game experience, and preparing athletes for varsity competition.
MS Girls Elite
Experienced 6th–8th grade girls ready for higher-level competition.
7th–8th Co-Ed
Middle school athletes competing in the Tampa Bay Christian Athletic League.
4th–6th Co-Ed
Elementary athletes learning, growing, and competing in a team environment.
Beach Volleyball
6th–12th grade girls competing during the spring season in a beach volleyball environment.

High School Volleyball & MS Elite
High School Boys & Girls
Tampa Bay HEAT offers separate boys and girls high school volleyball teams, including JV and Varsity opportunities.
Placement is based on experience, skill level, and team needs rather than age alone.
Girls Season: Fall (August–October)
Boys Season: Winter (January–April)
Varsity Fee: $600, or $550 with paperwork discount
JV Fee: $500, or $450 with paperwork discount
FHSAA paperwork is required for all high school athletes.
MS Girls Elite
Grades: 6th–8th grade girls with experience
Tryout Dates: Monday, August 3; Wednesday, August 5; Friday, August 7
Time: 12:00–2:00 PM
Practice Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00–2:00 PM
Season Registration: $350
4th–8th Grade Co-Ed Volleyball
4th–6th Grade Team
Competes in the Tampa Bay Christian Athletic League with local private and Christian schools.
Tryouts: Monday, August 3 and Wednesday, August 5
Time: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
Location: New Hope Methodist Church
Season Registration: $200
7th–8th Grade Team

Practices begin August 7 and will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 AM–12:00 PM until games begin. After games begin, there will be fewer practices. The season ends in early October.
Players will need to purchase a personal jersey if they do not already have one. Jerseys are $40 and may be used for all sports except cross country and track.
Spring Sport
High School Girls Beach Volleyball
6th–12th Grade Girls
Beach Volleyball is a spring sport offered to girls in 6th–12th grade. Athletes develop skills specific to the beach game while building endurance, communication, and teamwork.
Season Information

Grades: 6th–12th Grade Girls
League: FHSAA
Additional season details, registration information, and schedules will be released prior to the start of the season.
Important FHSAA Reminder
FHSAA paperwork is required for all athletes participating at the high school level. Advanced middle school athletes who are trying out for a high school-level team may also be required to complete FHSAA paperwork before participation.
Some forms require county verification, notarization, and a current physical, so families are encouraged to begin the process early. Athletes may not participate in tryouts, practices, or competitions until all required paperwork has been submitted and approved.
