New to HEAT?

Start Here

These are a few of the most important things to know as your family considers membership and registration.

HEAT Membership

Membership is one per family and runs June 1–May 31.

HEAT Membership provides access to classes, sports, clubs, field trips, socials, and other member opportunities.

Membership is automatically added during registration for member-only programs if your family does not already have an active membership.

Step Up Direct Pay

Tampa Bay HEAT is a Step Up Direct Pay Provider, and eligible in-person classes may be paid using Direct Pay funds.

Step Up funds must be reserved within 48 hours of registration.

If you are new to the scholarship and have not yet received funding, you will need to pay for classes by credit card and then apply for reimbursement through Step Up once your funds are available.

Important: Being awarded a scholarship is not the same as being funded. Funds must be available in your Step Up account before they can be used for Direct Pay.

HEAT Bucks

Families can earn HEAT Bucks by volunteering throughout the year.

HEAT Bucks may be applied toward eligible HEAT classes, events, and other opportunities.
