At Tampa Bay HEAT, we believe in the power of hands-on learning! Our field trips and events offer unique opportunities for children to explore the world beyond the classroom, build lasting memories, and connect with peers. From trips to local museums and farms to nature hikes and historical sites, we’re always planning exciting ways for students to discover new things and deepen their knowledge in fun, engaging ways.
Why Field Trips & Events Matter
Field trips are more than just a day out of the house, they’re an integral part of an educational approach. These experiences:

- For Members Only: These field trips and events are exclusively available to current members of our homeschool group. Not yet a member? We’d love for you to join us!
- No Refunds for Cancellations or No-Shows: Due to the administrative time and prepayments required for organizing these events, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Please be sure to RSVP thoughtfully, as spots are often limited.
Join Us for the 16th Annual Tampa Bay HEAT Open House!
The Tampa Bay HEAT (Home Education Activities Teams), Inc. will host our 16th Annual Open House on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. We invite you to stop by and learn more about our organization and the many opportunities we offer homeschooling families!
This event will be held in an open house format, allowing you to come and go as your schedule allows. Information stations will be set up throughout the space so you can meet our teachers, learn about class offerings, and explore the programs available through HEAT. We will also have a Homeschool 101 station where you can ask questions and get guidance about homeschooling.
Come hear about the many activities, classes, camps, and events Tampa Bay HEAT will be offering for the summer and upcoming school year. You’ll also have the chance to meet our leadership team and instructors, connect with other homeschool families, and browse the tables during our Used Curriculum Sale hosted by HEAT families.
We look forward to welcoming both new and returning families and sharing all that HEAT has to offer!
